“Kids in Control,” offers education and support to children between the ages of 8-13 years who have been affected by a parent/family member’s mental health issues, such as major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

This group provides knowledge about mental illness in a safe, accepting environment where kids can connect with others who have similar experience.

 8 sessions, meeting once a week for 1 ½ hours

  • Arts, crafts, and interactive learning opportunities
  • Next Group begins March 29, 2017 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Accepts ongoing referrals

There is always a wait list for these excellent parenting program workshops:

Making Sense of Adolescence on Tuesdays from 6 to 8PM starting September 20 and running to November 8th, 2016. There will be childminding available on site for this course.

Making Sense of Aggression on Wednesdays from 6 to 8PM starting September 21 to October 26, 2016.
