ADDICTION SERVICES Outpatient Clinic "Unlocking the Door to Success"
SERVICES Langley Addiction Services provides out patient screening, assessment, information/education, one to one and group counselling, referrals (to funded treatment system for residens of Langley and the community, directly or indirectly affected by substance use. This program is fully funded by the Fraser Health Authority. AREAS SERVED The communities of Langley Township and City (including Fort Langley, Walnut Grove and Aldergrove). PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, youth and families by providing leadership and services for the prevention and treatment of substance misuse and related issues. HOURS OF OPERATION Regular office hours are: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (Excluding statutory holidays). Groups and individual sessions are scheduled some evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm as necessary. IF YOU - Think you might have a problem with alcohol and/or other drugs
- Have a significant other who currently misuses alcohol and/or drugs
- Need support in maintaining recovery
- Live in Langley
HOW TO GET AN APPOINTMENT - Please call in personally and ask to speak to the Addictions Intake Worker
- We will take some information over the phone and arrange a time for an intake session where you will learn about the program
- Upon completion of the above, an assessment appointment with a counsellor is made.
- During the assessment interview, a service plan will be set up for you that meets your individual needs
SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO - Adults, Youth (13 and older) and seniors residing in Langley
Services are provided above regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation. OUR COUNSELLORS - Are professional addiction counsellors
- Work with you to develop an individualized service plan including goals tailored to your needs.
WE PROVIDE - Free, confidential services
- Referrals to detoxification centres, residential and day treatment programs
- Support groups
- Brief interventions
- Solution-focused one to one counselling
- Services for people affected by someone else's current substance abuse
- Community education
- Alcohol and drug information packages
- Referrals to other community services
